Reel in Your Destiny
Those who repeatedly plunge their hands into the dark mud and grab the most eels gain the glory! But eels aren't the only thing lurking within. There are many frightening snakes, too! Only those who grab the most lose everything. Should you grab many, just a few, or quit while you're ahead? Carefully observe your opponents and make your choice!
"Wriggle Roulette" is a tabletop game blending luck and strategy. Players take turns reaching into a bag filled with eel and snake-shaped wooden pieces, trying to pull out as many eels as possible. But beware—if the number of snakes grabbed by all players exceeds the limit, a "snake outbreak" occurs, and the player who grabbed the most pieces loses all of their eels. You want to grab more than everyone else to score big, but a snake outbreak would be devastating...
Will you grab a bunch? Just a few? Or back out entirely? Read your opponents' expressions and control your own greed to make the right call. It’s a unique push-your-luck game of risk and strategy.
The game is brought to life by its colored wooden pieces shaped like eels and snakes. Inside the bag are 68 small, 35mm-long pieces—black eels and red snakes. Though their colors differ, the wooden pieces share the exact same wiggly shape. Rattling them around in the bag and feeling your way through as you play makes for a truly suspenseful, sweaty-palmed experience! And when everyone opens their hands at once—a burst of excitement.
Co-designed by renowned French designer Bruno Faidutti (Citadels, Mascarade, Incan Gold) and Jun Sasaki (Deep Sea Adventure, A Fake Artist Goes to New York, Startups). Following their previous collaboration Whale to Look, this is their second co-designed title.
